You took me on your journey with your words and brought up a lot of memories–some good and some bad. To me, poetry is economy–evoking the most emotion and thought with the least possible words. You have that mastered. As Shakespeare wrote, “Brevity is the soul of wit.” You made me slow down and reflect on what’s important and the lessons learned from many experiences most of us would rather not have had.
